Note for: Realto Hansel, 6 MAR 1876 - 22 JUN 1953
Index
Individual Note: [Email from Judy Holthaus - Apr 2000]. I was in 3rd grade when Realto died, and can remember him a little. He had heart problems, and in poor health in his later years. I recall him ill laying in bed. He stayed with Eunice and Marc, and mom would go help Eunice to take care of him, and take me along. Marc and Eunice lived on the home farm, then rented a farm from Frank, and Ed Feidt up towards Garnavillo. When grandpa Realto's health was real bad they were living on that farm I recall. The house was made of rock, and I recall it had real thick walls. I must have been about 9-10 years old then.
