     [DeLong and Harlow] Served in teh Army during the civil war in the 2nd Regiment Heavy Artillery, Co.K; served from Sep 1862 to 4 July 1865; wounded at Cold Harbour, VA on 1 June 1865; transferred to 22nd Regiment V.R.C., Co.K, 3 Feb 1865.
In 1868 he applied for a pension on his disability which was granted.
In Jan 1898 he answered a questionnaire which apparently was sent to receipiantts of Dissability Pensions. He stated he was a widower, had married in Hadlyme, had two children living - Stephen A, born 5 Jan 1854 and Julia born 3 Jul 1850
